Can you login to bmw download manager and see if you have a later version? I was COMPLETELY behind the curve on this thinkiing all updates to my vehicle were OTA until I came across this thread and just downloaded the 36GB (now I know why it's not OTA ;-) file.

Hi. I saw those links above. We do not have connected drive here. So we don't have access to online services or the use of BMW app for things such as 3D view etc here.

You would probably have to ask dealer specifically for map update. Don't know the up-to-date version of the maps for your part of world, but if the same applies as here (map updates 4 times in year), than yours is definitely outdated.

Hi I asked the dealer specifically. He told me this is the latest update for the car from BMW. I showed him the links to the new maps version and he said they can't do unauthorized Map updates provided by other vendors. He told me to use Waze!
Btw I like the voice of the BMW assistant during navigation. The voice is much better than google Or Waze or Siri!

You can update all map data for your navigation system using the manual map update. The BMW Download Manager must be installed on your computer before your can download the current map data.

Unfortunately ConnectedDrive is not available here in Qatar. But available in UAE & Kuwait only!

I’m only seeing Road Map EUROPE Live 2020-2 available for manual download with the X3 M40D i had delivered last week. Could well be user error as this is my first BMW.

Connected live implies map updates are also available remotely. I know software updates aren’t, but is this possible, and is there a way to start it?

Live maps (for MGU idrive 7 head units) or different to the Evo maps (for NBT_ENV idrive 5/6 headunits), and get updates at different times.
