New 2020 X3MC - No M-stripe Seatbelts

Hi guys, I just picked up a new fully loaded X3M Competition. I absolutely LOVE the car! However, I noticed it does not have the colored M stripe seatbelts like it shows on BMWUSA.com. Unless those are the 2021 models only.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Your dealer had to specifically check the box for that free option.

I believe it became an option in November 2019, which I assume the dealer didn't add. Don't feel bad, I'm sure the the deal and savings were worth it. Congrates!

Wow. Annoying. Dealers are just ridiculous anymore when building cars. Anyhoo, this one was on the lot, didn't want to order and wanted the incentives on the 2020 MY.

Early builds didn't have it including mine, the ones from around December on did. Something to do with BMW not having the belts ready.

Not a big deal. I don’t even know if I have them. That’s how much of a non factor it is to me.

Great car. Ours is a December build and didn’t have them. I mentioned to the salesman and he didn’t even know the X3M came with them (it’s on BMWUSA btw). The car is great and so was the deal so I didn’t push the issue. Great looking car/color.
