X3MC M Sport Seats
Recently stoked to get delivery of the X3MC. still breaking-in the engine.
Loving the car except the M Sport Seats. Adjusted the seats to death and can't seem to find a comfortable setting, feels like the middle of my back is pushed forward too much. The only solution is to put a thin padding to raise my height. I'm short but not too short at 170cm (5'7?). Any suggestions?? |

I too was having the same problem (5' 8"). Fully deflating lumbar support solved it for me. My wife still thinks the seats are too big. When she turns her head she is staring straight into the shoulder supports.

I'm only 5'10" and I also have the same exact issue, it feels pretty hard against my lower back.
I went ahead and installed these lumbar support pillows and they work wonderfully. |

Yes fully deflated (that is the four direction round button pushed rear until it is as flat as it can be)... |

I love these seats. I even inflate the lumbar support about half way. I recently had a regular x3 loaner and couldn’t get comfortable in those. They seemed tiny, and no thigh support at all. The X4M seats to me are one of the most comfortable seats I ever had.

I'm 5'7" and find the seats very comfortable. I had to mess with it for a week before finding a good position. By default, I typically like a little bit of lumbar support but found on these seats, I needed to completely deflate them

Weird. I always like a little lumbar support but to find my comfort zone with these seats I had to totally deflate them as well.

Ditto +2. I'm 5'1" (female) & I had to deflate the lumbar gizmo completely, too. Seats are comfortable now.

Seems like just about every body type needs to do this. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, relatively fit, never had any back issues and found the seats uncomfortable until I completely deflated the lumbar bladders.

I have no issues with the lumbar and quickly found a setting that worked for me. The thigh support, on the other hand, is a bit constricting for a 30-year gym rat. After almost 10k miles I have stretched it out a bit, but it's still a bit more snug than I'd prefer.
