Interested to see what people are doing for mods to their SUVs.

I ordered the competition grilles, side grilles and trunk badge for X3 M. Tempted to order the gloss black tips as well.

Installed extended paddle shifters.

Took a nice long look at it before I left for the office. I'm at exactly 99 miles on the odometer. Gotta look for a reason to go for a drive later

I love it, but then again, I love louder exhaust notes. To me, a lot of my driving enjoyment is from the exhaust notes rising thru the gears. Once you've had an aftermarket exhaust, it's hard to stay stock on a new ride.

SM2, if you haven't installed the new parts yet, any way you can share an image of their backsides? Still trying to figure out if the front grill item can simply be unattached or is it permanently connected to the vertical grill slats? Same with the fake breather badge - I think I recall IND indicating they pop it out and can fill with epoxy and paint, but what would be fine for there would be if they could just sell the insert badge with same black font that we could just pop back in. May not be deemed worth their effort, but would be happy to pay for their expertise in getting that black font, and suspect others might be interested as well.

Possibly and maybe some 3M tape as well.
On the part system, it actually came up as a separate part number but was surprised to see that it came with the badge.

Front badge part number: 51-11-8-082-585. Should be easy enough to paint.

Thanks, SM2. It appears from your images that the vertical grill stops above and restarts below the badge, so it doesn't seem to be just our G01 X3M40i black grills with the badge item clipped on. So much for that idea... Oh well, thanks for sharing to confirm!

Maybe I'll try using a black magic marker on the chrome lettering (jk).

The part might be able to be pushed out by the 3 silver tabs.

You can't remove it until break-in service is completed.

Wheels/Reflectors

Picked up some graphite Vossen VFS-4 wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Winters for winter duty.

Front: 20x9 on 255/45R20
Rear: 20x10.5 on 275/40R20

Also got the reflector delete.

Think it turned out pretty good and really liking the meaty sidewall look.
