My 2021 was completed on May 19 and has been sitting there until BMW releases it.

I stand corrected: I've been told residual for 3yr/10k mile for 2021 is 55% and *no* incentives presently. So, not a great month to be leasing a '21.

Looking to buy an X3 M40i but local dealer is only offering $2K discount. Realize inventory is somewhat low, but anyone know a west coast dealer who wants an immediate sale and is giving realistic discounts?

If you look through this thread there have been a few people offering to give their ca if you PM them. There have also been a few dealerships mentioned. 2k off is a terrible deal. My local dealer who usually isn't good for deals offered me a lot more than that.

Has your dealer said anything to why the hold up? Esp since some dealers have gotten 2021s. I'd be livid.

* X3 M (phytonic blue, executive package, leather and sports seat.)
* MSRP is $77,295
* Tax rate is 0.8375
* Finance rate is 1.9% / 48 months but will be paying the remaining balance in 4 months without penalty
* OTD is $70,000

* Is this a good deal? Thanks in advance for your response.

2020 X4M Lease deal thoughts

I'm checking around some dealerships within 500 miles from home to see if there are any good lease deals on a 2020 X4M. Here is the first one, would like some insight to see if this is in the realm of a good deal before I make any more inquiries:

MSRP $80,395
Dealer Discount: $5000
Rebates $4000

36mo/12k miles/$0 down (startups only)
$925.83/mo plus 6% tax ($981.38)
Residual amt $45,021

Seems high to me, thoughts?

Yeah that's high, what money factor are they quoting you? I have a smaller payment for an MSRP that is $5k more.

I'm not sure on the money factor, it's not listed on the quote. What would be a good monthly payment target for an X4M in the $80k range?

That looks pretty good. I understand the 11%+ deals are hard to come by. Inventory is very limited. I haven't seen any new ones hit the ground at my local dealers. The bigger question is do you love the car? It sounds really good and the color is great.

Ask for the money factor and we can tell you. Search my posts and you can see what the deal looks like that I got. It was the same as another forum member in this thread for an X4M.

Thanks for your response. I haven't picked up the car. But I'm pretty sure I'll love the car. About the inventory, this particular dealer has 8 on the lot. They have 6 X3 M an 2 X3MC. I don't know if I should continue with the deal.

I would contact Dan at Next Level Auto Brokers on the forum. He has great insight into inventory, pricing, etc. He’s very helpful and a genuinely nice guy. I know our dealer hasn’t gotten anything new in and the ones they have had are hit or miss with the options. Why ventilated seats is a stand alone option under $500 bucks makes no sense. It makes less sense that dealers don’t check the box for example.

My local dealer has 5 M's on the lot... What could i offer them without being laughed out of the showroom...?

There are over 150 M's within 100 miles of me, so inventory in the Mid Atlantic region is not scarce...

Start at 13% off before incentives.

What are current incentives? Say 80 or 81K MSRP X3M Comp, feasible to get to the low to mid 60's plus TTL?

Current incentives are shown on the first post of this thread. Keep in mind they are regional, though. Most regions have less lease cash, and some have dramatically less. And most also have lower loyalty. Are you looking to lease or purchase?

My sticker on the x3m I bought on Tuesday was 80,545 I got 6.5k rebates (5k purchase, 1k loyalty, 500 Usaa) and dealer discount of 9k. So I was 65k plus ttl on a 80k plus msrp. This was the last one at my dealership, but they had it for a while.

Was this one of the ones at United? They had maybe 11 6-7 weeks ago and I don’t think they (or most dealers) have gotten many new ones.

No, Taylor. Everything coming in now will be 2021s. So now is the time to jump on the 2020s in stock unless you prefer the 2021 changes

Agreed. We did exactly that and when the dealer got in our car we bought it straight away. Tough to find a perfect spec (why ventilated seats is a stand alone option is a mystery).
