Was done by Clark Aitken (NE Scotland). You don’t get better than Clark.

GYEON Quartz all over, interior, bodywork , wheels.

Had Gyeon on my previous San Marino blue F80 M3 and that was stunning. Makes cleaning a breeze - especially wheels.

Have a look at his Facebook page - does all the amazing cars!

Looks great that! I'm too waiting on some warmer weather to coat mine.

Small world, I went to school with his younger bro.

are you DIY applying? No reason you cant do it now - in fact it gives you a longer work time in colder weather and leaves less chance of errors

Indeed I am, have done my last 4 cars with various products.

I agree with that, I guess Gyeon put me off as they said don't coat it below 10°C when I asked for the data sheet which tbh I took with a pinch of salt. I'm overseas now but when I return I'll set aside a couple of days to get it done.

Edit: Checked my emails and they said 15-25°C for applying otherwise it will take 24-48 hours to cure.....think the cure time just made me think pah I'll leave it for now.

i used Syncro on mine, but like you said, just left it longer before using the car. Seemed easier to use then Gtechniq CSL. Too early to gauge durability though!

I'll maybe try the same, I have both Synchro and Pure in the garage. Used CQuartz last time and it lasted over 3 years. Never used Gyeon before so thought I'd give it a go. When I light machine polished in December I was surprised at how good the paint was so it won't need much prep anyway.

I didnt even polish mine (or clay it)

gave it a good look and it seemed pretty swirl free and couldnt feel any contaminents in the paint (i did clay a little bit a the bottom of the door and it came up clean).

That said, i dont think mine came up as shiney as the OP's car.....

trying very hard not to be OCD about this car as i already have a garage queen!
