Hello all,

Was wondering if anyone has any particular items they keep in the trunk for a quick clean / spot treatment ?

I keep a spray bottle of Adam’s Polishes Waterless Wash & Blue Waffle Towels in case a bird decides to bomb me.

I keep waterless wash and microfibers in the trunk at all times. I also keep some glass cleaner in there.

My X3MC is currently being shipped from Germany back to the States, but when I get it back, I'll probably have Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Detailer and microfiber cloths in there. With that said, I do have Opticoat Pro+ ceramic coating on it already and Meguiar's says it's safe on ceramic coated cars. I have not tried it on that car yet, though.

However, I did use the Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Clay Kit (which uses the Hybrid Ceramic Detailer as a lubricant) on my E46 M3 and the results were amazing. The M3 only has clear bra on it, no ceramic coating.

I am admittedly OCD and likely insane but below is the stuff I keep in the X3M Comp...

I keep two different ER detail kits:

In the center console (90% of the time this does the trick):

1x 2 oz. fine mist sprayer with Optimum Opti-Clean (works great one interior trim, leather, screen, glass, sunglasses, etc and is safe pretty much on everything).
1x 2 oz. fine mist sprayer with Adam's Odor neutralizer (I have two toddlers and live in sunny & humid South Florida)
1x The Rag Company 16x16 "Spectrum 420" dual-pile, 420 gsm, 70/30 blend microfiber towel (I keep it folded in the cubby under the light switch to dry the window sills and such when it rains and you inevitably get some water on the window trim and controls when trying to get into the car and folding the umbrella while closing the door)
1x The Rag Company 16x16 "The Premium FTW" glass twisted loop, 550 gsm, 70/30 blend, Orange microfiber towel (interior/exterior touchups except the gloss black trim)
1x The Rag Company 16x16 "Eagle Edgeless 600" super plush, 600 gsm, 70/30 blend (exclusively for the gloss black trim around the shifter)
1 x travel pack of baby wipes (again toddlers and they are great for leather or nasty stuff because you just throw them out when done; don't underestimate baby wipes)

In the trunk (inside the left cubby in an old BMW nylon case I had laying around that Velcro's to the panel):

1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with OPT ONR 1:15 dilution (for bird bombs)
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with OPT Opti-Clean (for interior/exterior touchups)
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner (for stubborn bird bombs, bugs, tar, water spots, etc)
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with P&S XPRESS Interior Cleaner
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with Adam's Odor Neutralizer
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with Stoner Invisible Glass
1x 8 oz. fine mist sprayer with nextzett Anti Insekt or CarPro BUG-OUT (for the Florida bugs when on the road)
2x The Rag Company Platinum "Pluffle" 16x16 hybrid weave, 400 gsm, 70/30 blend
2x The Rag Company 16x16 "The Premium FTW" glass twisted loop, 550 gsm, 70/30 blend, Orange
6x The Rag Company 16x16 "Edgeless 365" premium microfiber terry, 365 gsm, 70/30 blend (throwaways)

And if you think this is nuts, you should see the garage...
