Full screen car play.

Hi guys. Did the upgrade and it's decent.

One thing I can't seem to find (uk) fuel stations app I had before. Where can I find it? It listed them by price which was nice

It's a shame the mod can't be set to toggle between fullscreen and split. I run BMW Nav when I go anywhere for the HUD view and run that map in split screen alongside CarPlay. Fullscreen CarPlay makes that impossible.

I think the split screen is still there but it doesn't rescale

Personally I don't see the value of stretching carplay on a decent size screen as 1/3 of screen is just blank grey. I like having the split screen for when playing satellite radio or CD, USB, FM, etc while still having Waze up.

It does looks better.
I have tried using google maps or waze via CarPlay, as much as it is good, I kept on missing my exit using it.
I still prefer BMW Nav since it shows up on my HUD even when my screen not in the nav.
I only use CarPlay for nav when BMW nav couldn't find the address I am going to, which is very rare.

Confirmed can't get split screen (need to do more testing) but still can use Waze map and bmw HUD.

Happy so far but missing the fuel price app will try and find it

Are you confusing an iOS app with a bmw connected drive app?

I have a connected drive app called fuel prices that lists stations, names, distance, price etc...

Yeah that's the one I am looking for but it seems to have vanished. I can see flickr news etc but no fuel app?

It's a bit hidden. Try this...

Click the idrive wheel to left twice which brings up the navigation screen.
Scroll down on that screen and the fuel prices app shows up.

I have it saved to a preset button

with the cost of fuel here and the x3m liking a drink it's very handy

Worked thanks. You lose the saved favs when doing the car play hack. God knows how I found it to begin with lol.

Sorry yes some folk on here offer it. Shawnsherdian and kubax86. It's now working for NBTevo S as of last week.

Idrive 6 is like this, idrive 7 full screen is already sorted.

You need enet for newer idrive versions and about 40-50 usd. There's a Windows exe to run and it's easy to do.
