No full leather?

Currently have full leather on my M3C and feel it is a must on M cars. Anyone know if any of the individual interiors are available with a leather dash? I am shocked they don't offer it as an option like they did on the F80/82.

I agree with you completely. When I ordered my build back in Oct it was not even an individual option.

BMW seem to have stopped the extended leather dash option. I had it in my 440i and loved it. Not available on the new M340i either.

it’s not an option like on the m3/4 and older bmws

you still get leather look/pleather on the dash and door cards with stitching but not as good as the f80 leather

Agree completely. The Spousal Unit's X5M has full leather, as did my Macan that the X3 replaced. It's disappointing that a car at this price point has a vinyl dash. It looks pretty cheap & cheesy to me.

This is part of the German automaker’s initiative to keep cars free of animal material.

It's not like you get leather dash standard in other comparable vehicles. You can get it in the Macan as an option but it's $2k Canadian just for a leather dash pad which is ridiculous IMO.

A car of this price range should have full leather. I am happy though that the fake leather dash and doors do look close enough that it gives off the appearance of full leather so not much is lost. If it did not have any stitching than it would look too plain.

The leather dash option is there and triggers the full leather option which you can select on the M340i (selecting either gives you the same in terms of leather coverage) it was the same on the F3* 3 series as well, if you selected the leather dash it also selected the merino leather (if not selected previously) and gave you leather on the top of the door cards/lower dash/upper dash same as the G3* options do today.

No, it's not standard on the Macan, but it is available, & I'd like to option to have it. If they're trying to be more eco-conscious, that's fine, but I wish they'd offer a finish that's less cheap looking. It didn't stop me from getting the car, but I'd like it more if the finishes were more luxe. AND - it's available on other BMW models, so why not the X3M line?

I've never seen so much good quality leather in the M8 - I'm surprised the indicator stalks aren't wrapped in it

Well that makes it a complete joke that you can't get it in the X3M (not available on the M40i either).

True, I wouldn't have specced it though as I got the cheap deal but it does make a massive difference to the interior of any BMW as you found with the 440i.

I was close to pulling the trigger on a M850i and the base (extended, not full) leather option had a full leather dash, so I don't believe the eco conscious thing.

Went with the X4M....no comparison in ride, but those 8ers are pretty nice inside. What a deal...2019 leftover $129k for $1200/mo. Was hard to say no...

It's literally the only thing that disappoints me about this car. I had full leather in my F80 and it really made the interior.

I think I read on the thread that MY21 will come with a full leather interior option. Can anyone confirm?

Also, seems typical BMW adds this option after the first MY. This was the case for the G05 X5. Extended leather only on MY19, now full leather option on MY20+

This is ridiculous! I want to buy an X3M right now but im starting to look at other brands now instead solely because the X3M doesnt feel premium enough. No full leather, not carbon on the center console. No different hood than a reguler X3. The list can go on. They have really showed no love to this model.
