Digital Dash and Nav Screen Dimming During The Day
Need some help. Driving back from FL, during the day, my digital Dash and nav screen would dim for 4-10 minutes then go bright again then after a while go dim again. I believe there might be some type of daylight/dark sensor. I know that the brightness wheel on the lower part of the dash only lets you adjust screen brightness when it’s dark.
Any ideas where to troubleshoot? Thanks |

There is a sensor that can dim the panels in daylight, but it is not adjustable by the thumb wheel on the dash like it is at night. People with window tint find that it always stays dim, thus why I asked.
You can use BimmerCode to set it to a specified brightness and disable the sensor.
