Happy Easter. Working on an x3 for my son. have done a bunch of work to it but it continues to get the code 2efe. this code was stored and attempted clearing code and actuating the fan with a scan tool. would not actuate. it would not activate with ac or by pulling the connector off the temp sensor. checked for power and ground - present. checked for signal voltage on green black wire - had 4.4 volts. decided to replace the fan. but instead of buying an oem fan, purchased an aftermarket one. fortunately, the fan now works. can actuate the fan with scan tool, turns on with the ac, etc. however, the code 2efe returns. anyone ever see this? any help would be appreciated
