Another tire size option for 718 Wheels 21"
Hey guys,
I wanna get Pilot Sport 4S tires from michelin, and played with some numbers and sizes for the 21" wheels Front would be only 10mm wider 255/40/21 and rear 20mm more 295/35/21 I know the rear might have a little bulge, but I've read many people that ran this size on 9.5" wheel without issues. I also want to get some more hips in the back from rear wider tires. |

If you consider the fact that the X3M runs on 10x21/ET 39mm rear and 9.5x21/ET 31mm front (765M rims) you can easily calculate that you can give your car a "hip" of about 10-11mm (2/5th inch) using spacers. You don't need wider tires for that wider look.

Fair enough, but may I ask why you are not a fan of spacers? Correctly designed spacers with quality and center extension combined with longer bolts are a no brainer if you ask me. Eibach is top notch. The most important and an absolute must is the center extension.
