My Download Manager says it's VIN specific .. unlock codes, etc .. not yours?

I can also see a FSC file with my VIN serial number in:

-rwxrwxrwx 1 no staff 188 Apr 10 15:26 fsc/FSC_NB99598_0120005E.fsc

I have exactly the same issues than Rik762 . I have called Spain's connected drive support, email them and they have no clue what they talk. I know more about their systems than them !

Yes it's always said that I think, but definitely always worked on other cars, just remember I even used it in a MINI!

Obviously the car has to use EVO maps, i.e. idrive 4, 5 or 6

Hello,

Still fighting with BMW connected drive support. They keep trying to convince me that what happens is normal.

In my map version I see this :
Name:  2.jpg
Views: 759
Size:  201.1 KB

Whilst some people see this with OTA updates
Name:  2a.jpg
Views: 740
Size:  40.8 KB

For the ones with no problems, do you mind attaching a picture of your version to see if it matches mine or the I think correct one ?

I have exactly the same as you. The OTA limited area version may or may not happen but it is the ability to download the 'full Europe' version that we both need. The powers that be cannot seem to understand.

101182.3.211 2018-4 was the version I last downloaded to my previous 30d. That was back in Oct 2018.

Have you tried live chat with a genius? I tried all sorts to fix my remote 3D view problem and then the genius fixed it in 10 minutes!

It was a USB update, I've had the car a year and never seen a OTA update come through although I tend to do the USB update as soon as available

I wonder if there are any restrictions on USB updates on newer versions, there was talk of USB coding being block for I-step version P onwards but would have hoped map updates would still be OK
