Anyone else with Temp display show the left front always hotter? Show this way on mine with both summer and winter wheels. Always 2 to 3 degrees hotter. Should I be concerned?

I don’t have ambient lighting, but there are LEDs under the wood door panel which you can see if you look into the gap underneath. Does anyone know if these can be turned on?

In the pic here, the LEDs are in the same place as the lower light strip in orange.

Then I set default volume to 20% which also required me to activate vim.

Then I went for drive and DVD screen was locked out.

How can I deactivate vim? Just set to disabled and code.
Then re-enable and code?

Update

I deactivated and then reavtivated VIM.

The screenshot below displays on phone app after instructed to hold iDrive controller forward.

In my case iDrive is in the same ‘multimedia’ spot it was when I started coding.
I cannot perform the step to disable speedlock.

On previous attempts I breezed through that step and did not read it correctly.

Who has used BC to disable VIM?
Did you see the speedlock screen?

Can you access BDC_BODY2 in expert mode?

Want to change VAM_SMART_OPENER and see if that will disable it

As above, yes, 1-7 can easily be done with 8 being done using expert mode as someone has posted on here how to do it. The last one I'm not sure if they would be possible at all.
Don't suppose you know where I can find the setting to activate number 7 from this list do you? (Start the car in Sport individual mode) Have had a look through all the ECU's and can't see the option. Thanks

For that option the following control unit has to be available in the car: “Body Domain Controller” BDC

Anyone found the optimum mirror percentage dip when using the mirror dip on the offside exterior mirror when in reverse?

I noticed on BC that its in 10% increments

I've found the factory setting dips too far

Yep, it's in the BDC unit of BimmerCode.

That's a tricky questions, because of ones hight and seating position. That said, I've got it at 70, but didn't tried another options.

Thank you for the replies ANM8 and chicagofan00. Looks like the Vgate adapter i'm using doesn't support coding the BDC

I know yeah, I bought mine when I had my F32 (and the vgate was a recommended adapter! ) but can't be bothered buying another one just for a few coding options. Guess I'll just have to continue manually pushing the Sport button like a peasant! 😂

Can I code to keep the large digital speedometer numbers?

I find the cluster in sports mode easier to read than the traditional readout in comfort. is there a way to code it so I can stay in comfort sitting, but always displays large numerical readout?

thx for your time.

Yes switch to sport individual.
Set up everything on comfort there

With bimmer code made your individual mode be default with startup

Have you tried setting Bimmercode/BDC/Default Driving Mode in Sport, then switching to Sport Individual using the console button? When you start the car next time, it will remember the last Sport Mode used.
