A tip: I believe X4 is somewhat like a coupe on stilts - I will lower mine 35 mm by installing H&R springs - same as for X3- which will transform it to an "ordinary" coupe. There is a picture on H&R homepage. Can be bought cheap from Germany. Installation is expensive though.
Thanks Tjalle. Yes I will lower mine aswell in the upcoming months. But not with H&R, I will install a air ride suspension kit untill next Spring. In winter I don't need it that low. I will update you as soon as I installed that system

An excellent set of mods there Richi0303. You must be proud to have such a unique X4.

Richi, I have not looked closely on your pics - until now.
You forgot to mention one thing - obviously you can change ride height - that makes it a whole new ball game - smart!

The winning setting is third from top - about 10-20 mm lower than mine - unloaded.

Yes, this is the regular driving height and the setup for the wheel alignment.
When I park the car, I can change it to the lowest position (chassis touches my wheels), but when I start the enginge, it automatically change the height to the regular driving position.

No issues with air ride? Some guy tried in X5 forum and had to take it out eventually!

Not at all so far. It might be another air ride quality that we have to use here in Switzerland than in other countries. Our air ride system must pass many different tests with high liability to get it legal here. I know that it's way different than to others that you can have in the US for example

Funny story happend to me yesterday! Police stopped my by a regular control. They checked my car documents, drivers licence etc...
they asked me if I changed anything else than I presented in my car documents, I said no (even I have changed the front lip). he congrats me for my nice ride and asked me to lower down the car to take a snap with his phone! haha, never happend before something like that

Why can't all cops be like him!

Did you order the car with a spoiler or you added it aftermarket? If you added it aftermarket where did you order it from?

Pics are very nice. I would go with black wheels though but the same color configuration you have.

That looks great. I love how you painted the rear valance white. I was thinking of doing the same and now, after seeing yours, I will for sure.

I'm considering getting the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs E10-20-024-02-22 kit but this only lowers the X4 by 20mm. I rang Eibach Australia and they said they'd settled on 20mm to maintain ride comfort as much as possible.

Anyone with Eibach springs, did the car look much different dropping around 20mm.

The guys with H&R springs that dropped around 35mm, are you happy with the ride comfort and handling, would you go with the H&R springs again.

I'm tending to think 20mm isn't enough and not much point in doing to improve the visual appearance.

Any comments GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Cheerz
