Pointless photos and random places

Not my X3 but this 2020 X3 crashed into one of my business at around 11:40am. It was driven by a lady in her late 60's and she just got her x3 yesterday. I'm assuming she was not used to BMW gear lever and put the car in D thinking it was in R. Luckily no one was hurt but I was sitting about 5ft away from that mangled door. Interesting day so far...

LOL. Well, I would only make fun of a person who owns a martial arts studio in NY. It's a safe assumption you would not travel to CO to kick my a$$, but I could be wrong

It's good the airbag didn't deploy. The damage is bad yes....but it's focused on a small and purposely squashy area so I doubt she was going at a great speed. Airbags can cause injury so you don't want an unnecessary deployment.

Airbags only go off if two things happen. 1. You have to be going over a certain speed, and 2. You have to have impact at the airbag sensor (which is usually in the headlight area). It doesn't look like either of those two things were met in this case, so it is a good thing the airbags didn't deploy.

I picked up my M40i 2 days ago. Early days....lots to learn and discover, especially as I have a lot of options on the car. I went with 699M with non-RFTs.
