My 2020 M40i build

Just got done with everything on my 2020 X3 M40i. Special ordered for my birthday at the end of August this year. Delivered Oct 1. I went with Alpine White with Black leather/Blue contrast stitch with the new Carbon Fiber trim option.

My buddy came out and we polished and prepped the X3. Ceramic coated after everything was perfect. Also removed the wheels and ceramic coated the wheels and brake calipers. Once that was done we also ceramic coated the glass.

Also in the past week I've been installing all the parts to make this vehicle that much more special to me.

The modifications list;
IND painted front and rear reflectors
IND painted license plate frame
IND painted black floating center caps
Future Classic 15mm wheel spacers on all 4 corners
M Performance Carbon Fiber front door entrance sills
M Performance Black Kidney Grilles
M Performance Carbon mirror caps
M Performance floor mats
F90 M5 Red start stop button assembly with IND Blue painted start stop button

Waiting for the M Performance steering wheel trim in Carbon/Alcantara to be released from BMW and then I'll also be getting that.

Cheers!

Your car looks great! I'm hoping to take delivery of my Alpine White/Black and Blue Contrast/Carbon Fiber M40i in a couple of weekends. I'm also planning on doing a ceramic coating with one of my buddies. Where did you get the black grilles and mirror caps? I wish there was an option from the factory to have gloss black accents everywhere.

Ind Distribution!
I also used the F90 start stop button assembly though too so the LED behind the button is white not amber and the MSA button is gloss black instead of matte black.

Did the spacers require an alignment?

No because all you're removing is the wheel.

Do you remember how much the F90 assembly cost, and how difficult was it to install?

I'm not sure what your cost will be. Maybe $120 or so. You must remove the center dash trim. With some plastic trim tools you should be able to get the trim out and pull it back and disconnect the 3 plugs and then replace the start stop button.

Can you please post the part number for the M5 ignition switch?

Just installed BlackVue 900S 2 Channel and Valentine 1 Gen 2. Hardwired into back of fuse box with BMW pins. Cleanest possible install. Nothing sticking out of the front of the fuse box. Ran the rear camera wire up around the headliner and tucked into the right tail gate hinge.

Some good audio for anyone interested. 2020 M40i with Catted Downpipe only. No tune. Occasionally will get these insane explosions.
