If you use CodeMyBimmer, they send you one - you also need a Windows or Mac laptop for them to access via TeamViewer

They send you an Enet cable from Amazon, that takes a couple days

The actual coding took less than an hour total

A portion of that was just him connecting to my laptop via TeamViewer and then installing/configuring the virtual machine.

The actual coding took maybe 30 minutes.

You do have to download and extract a ~10GB virtual machine - I did that ahead of time which saved a good amount of time

Our remote coding package includes an ENET cable delivered to you within 2 days and the coding takes place on your Windows or Mac laptop.

Our last customer’s G01 was literally off the assembly line 2 weeks ago in Spartanburg and we were able to code it.

Did BimmerCode or Carly come up with enabling anti dazzle? I have both but cannot figure it out... also there's not much on Carly for coding. When will they crack the g series?

Yours is leased, right? Are you going to have to restore everything to factory coding before you return the lease?

Used bimmercode for the first time yesterday, once realized that "Road sign detection" feature is available for activation, decided to invest in buying the app (EUR 30), successfully activated feature and....nothing. Same with video codecs and playback from USB (only audio is played, no video - AVI, MP4), rear gear selection audible notification was enabled, but nothing had changed. Total disappointment. Probably will request money back.
Does anybody know how to enable road sign detection (using this app or another)? I have instrument cluster like that:

Name: X3 dash.JPG
Views: 4919
Size: 56.6 KB

The only feature I could enable is temperature in tyres, not really useful and quite expensive.

When you say road sign detection, do you mean speed signs?
Isn’t that a feature enabled by default?

Where do you see the rear gear audible notification specified on bimmercode website? I’d like to enable that if it actually exists for G01.... but it’s not listed as a coding option currently.

I found some guides on coding the anti dazzle for the f series. Will this work on a G01?
