Do both these cars use the same haldex awd system where it's more fwd bias?

Models comparing are x3 28i and x1 28i

To my knowledge, bmw does not use a haldex system. The f48 would be closest to that type of system as it is fwd biased until wheels slip but the g01 is rwd biased. I’m sure those more enthralled with all wheel drive systems will chime in but I don’t think bmw uses haldex systems.

Correct, BMW has it's own system:

Haldex is virtually always in front wheels drive only mode, and will redirect power to the rear wheels only if needed.

And interesting article I saw on WardsAuto that seems to indicate BMW will eventually no longer have a full-time AWD system like Audi is now doing with their Quattro Ultra system.
