Can confirm. Test drove one. My dealer didn't have an m40i so this was as close as it got.

I think I would jump at that option if it were available here in the US. I like how diesels drive in general. I've seen a couple websites saying that US diesel X3 is coming next month, but that seems limited to 2 l 4-banger.... if it happens at all. Another thank you to VW for tainting an entire fuel system.

The diesel was great but almost same price as the m40i. Only reason to get the diesel for me was fuel consumption and less insurance. Also it sounds like a tractor

I have a question regarding SiriusXM ... is it standard or just part of the Convenience Package?

Can't seem to find an answer on this on the board.

Thanks!

According to the ordering guide it's part of the Convenience Package, so not standard.

Thanks ... anyone else that has it can confirm this?

That would be quite insane in 2019 to have a $50k car with something as basic as Sirius as a high priced option.

Does anyone know if there were any changes, small/significant between the 2018 release and subsequent years, 2019-2020? Also, from reading through the thread it sounds like the "Standard" safety features like blind spot etc are not standard and are only included if Driver Assistance Package is added?

As I await arrival of my M40i, I was playing with the configuration. I personally find the 30i to have a better looking and aggressive front.

M40i looks way better in person than that photo you posted.

And then of course looks even more aggressive once you add a lip.

I got the blue, but I’m questioning my decision. I’ve always owned grey or silver. I like the look of yours. Hopefully, I’m not disappointed when I see it in person.

Where did you get that lip?

I really like the Phytonic Blue and it was actually my first color choice but there wasn't one in the lot that had the options I wanted. I felt as though I was settling with Glacier Silver at first but I absolutely love it now due to how easy it is to maintain and hide the dirt.

The front lip is from 3D Design and I bought it through IND-Distribution

Yeah, my current F25 X3 is mineral silver and I rarely wash it because it hides the dirt so well. I also have a carbon black 435 and EXERYTHING shows on it, although beautiful when clean.

My plan is to buy X3 M40i to my driveway (Now there is already E39 M5 and F48 x20i).

Couple questions where I have not able to find proper answer;

When G01 M40i did get that gpf/ppf (that particle filter thing)?
I have tried to google it out, but I did not find 100% answer. I assume that it is included in cars which production is 08/18-> ?

And was the same production date introduced that locked DME or when that did come out? And that is causing lots of issues to do SW Tuning for those B58's?

Is there some kind of list available that what has been changed in YM 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021 ?

Quick tire/speed limiter question. Is the following assumption correct?

19/20" OEM wheels - Speed limiter set to 133mph if car comes with AS tires. 155mph if car has Summer tires

21" wheels - Speed limiter to 155mph by default

20" and 21" are equipped with performance run-flat tires and include 840 High Speed Synchronization - engine speed limit set to 155mph

19 " are equipped with AS RF or non-RF and have an engine speed limit set to 130mph.
