Maybe set reverse_gong to off (Werte=00)?

HU_NBT2 | 3002 AUDIO_TUNER_TRAFFIC | REVERSE_GONG | off [00]

The comment for that options says "Kommentar=controls, if ReverseGong is activated."

I see--I misunderstood your question. Ignore what I said. I don't know if the volume of the sound of the proximity sensors can be changed.

I don't believe it's possible. Their intensity is already coded at 100% from the factory. Angel eyes are controlled by DRL_Idx. The Werte for that parameter is [02 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 11 12 02 02], with the red numbers indicating the index governing the behavior of the daytime running lights. 11 and 12 in hex translate to 17 and 18 in decimal. Looking at LmmIdx17_Intensity and LmmIdx18_Intensity, the Werte for each of them is [64] hex, which is 100 in decimal. I guess you could try changing the Werte to be more than a 100 (kind of oveclocking the lights), but I would not do that on my car.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a few times in this thread, so apologies in advance but I can't find any definitive answers... Is VLD code-able on the G01 with BimmerCode?

Yes, I was able to do it in Expert mode.

Going off memory it was in BDC > Expert Mode > Laminster1 > ForwardlightY > and then you can make the selection to turn it on.

I know some of the labels are off, can't remember exactly what they were called, but this will get you in the ballpark.

Yes, you can do it in BimmerCode's expert mode. Go to BDC_BODY2, branch 3530 LaMaster1, and code

Code:
C_AFS_ENA = G001_enable (Werte=01)
LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y = G001_AFS (Werte=00,00,00)
Please note that this enables Variable Light Distribution, which is different from Non-Glare High Beams. Variable Light Distribution changes the shape of the low beams.

Gugin is there anyway to remove startup driver profile welcome picture. I know in some cars is a option in idrive but in G series they hide it.
I tried everything including disabling profiles but no luck whatever i do.

Has anybody received updates for 2020 iDrive 7.0 coding? I am still waiting to get an updated version. So far my $32 purchase is a waste!

There is a separate forum thread for the 2020 updates. And the current news that an update is coming very soon.

I'll take a look through the coding files. Most likely will get to this on the weekend. Where did you disable the profiles? In HU NBT Evo or some other module?

Which cars have the option? I could try to emulate that car to see what the FDLs for that car look like.

Disable seatbelt slack tug when you start driving:

ACSM5 \ CAFD_00001B2C

cpGleTr1LEnb: nicht_aktiv [00] (Driver)
cpGleTr1REnb: nicht_aktiv [00] (Passenger)

(DISCLAIMER: Disable this safety feature at your own risk. For me it was intolerable - it would tighten and not fully release, inhibiting my ability see in parking lots. Dealer would not acknowledge issue.)

Weird? Mine is just a quick tug to make sure you are against the seat back and after that I can lean as far forward as I want to go. The dealer should be able to fix that? You should also compare to another car? As much as I like to code things to my liking in my X3 the safety stuff I am leaving alone.

If you like the behavior, don't use the code. As I wrote, I already asked my dealer. They stated it is operating as designed.

The option is in the dealer-codable aftermarket HO-worts, so it's something even BMW seems to think should be configurable to some extent.

I have been dealing with it for over a year and I cannot express how much more I like my car now that I don't have to fight against it 50% of the time when I drive away.

Hurts my head as to why we cant turn this option off from the factory? This is the only feature that pisses me off about the X3.

17 quid for the adapter off ebay and 31 quid for the software - bargain. Used OBDeleven on my Golf R and BC is just as good....similar to Carista but still good to have a play with.

I currently have Alpina dials and M startup on iD screen. Also small digital speed readout in all modes of adaptive and Switched of ASD
