Wow, those really don't look like stick-ons in the pictures. Can't wait to see them installed.

I'm hesitant to get any sort of adhesive solution but there doesn't seem to be any trim replacement options.... maybe after the X4M comes out those trims will fit on the M40i, of course they could have a vastly different interior.

I would be interested in the iND parts depending on what you have. I am in Chicago too so no need to ship anything.

Need some feedback.

The trim is just placed over right now with double sided tape . Don't critique the install because it isn't ready

Autotechnik Fitment is actually very impressive .

I think it looks good. My only concern would be that it is a cover instead of replacement.

Agreed .

As far as I know, replacements will impossible on the doors because the trim pieces are plastic welded ( is that the term ? ) to the door assembly . The ambient lighting strip runs right on the wood trim.

If I am completely wrong about the trim pieces please let me know .

I'm sure the X3m and x4m will offer carbon from the factory.

You are correct from what I've read from others that have looked into it. So long as it doesn't appear to be tacked on then I think it's a worthwhile change.

I believe there is a carbon package being offered on the X3/4M variants.

You can see the steering wheel here. No coding required. It is Plug and play because it is a 3 stage air bag.

Nice, dont we need coding to the let X3 you now have a heated steering wheel?

Remember I trying to go from what I have now: M steering wheel with lane assist and Driving Ass Plus (DAP) non-heated; to M steering wheel heated lane assist DAP.
