Rear Seat Cover for Dogs

Has anyone found a good looking and quality rear seat cover for their furballs?

Pics and links appreciated.

I've been using the Kurgo Heather Bench Dog Car Seat Cover (https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcos...nch-seat-cover) for almost a year by now and it's been holding itself together a lot better than the generic $20 seat covers, and I never have to clean it once yet (I totally should though). I chose this style over the U shaped bench cover in hope that my dog would learn to seat / down on the back seat instead of walking around all the time. Well, that didn't work out. This kind of cover is also good if you expect a passenger in the back seat once in a while vs. the U-shape ones.

I've also got a separate piece that's hanging on the head rest of the front seats so the seat backs are also covered, but I cannot find the item on their website. The end result is similar to this bundle: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcos...ammock-for-dog, but with vent at the rear AC outlet so the doggo could use some active cooling during hot weather.

We have the Viewpets cover purchased from Amazon. X3 is not here for a picture but we got the one that goes with Cognac interior, 4 colors available. Its wasable and only about $35. Our German Shepherd pup gave it a two paw’s up rating. I would definitely buy it again and I’ve had the Kurgo before.

The Viewpets is like a soft quilt but repels liquid while the Kurgo is more like a heavy canvas.

I've been using the Weathertech ... they match based on your vehicle and it is really durable. They are pricey compared to some others. The photo is from their website and is a Ford F150.

I wish the dog didn't shed so much, but at least 95% of the hair stays on the cover and it vacuums off pretty easily.

I don't have personal experience, but this one seems high rated and I may pick it up:

I used this one on a recent 500 mile trip. Worked perfectly and shows zero wear and tear.

The seat cover arrived yesterday. Quick delivery
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183430849815

I must say I am very impressed at the quality of the cover. Extremely well made. I like the non slip / non scratch part that goes underneath the cover
Its exactly what I was after
Liking the velcro slots to use the seat latchs
Snap buckles around the headrests
(I should be on commission lol)

I would have been happy if I'd paid 3 times what I did TBH
I don't know how they do it for the money
Even came with a pet car safety belt which I don't use
Definitely a quality bit of kit IMHO

It can be used as a hammock style rear cover but thats not what I intend using it for

The pic isn't great as its just come out of the bag so very creased but you get the idea -

Extra Large and seems to fit well though can't get the plastic bar that goes into the seat where the back and bottom come together but still stays in place.

Downsizing from a Touareg to an X3 LCI soon. In the touareg I had covers on the back seat for years, but now with the Kids gone, the seats are down more than up. Not only are they raised slightly, but have a whole flat space for comfort. Just put a large dog bed in behind the front seats, near enough the width of the folded seats, plus the rear of the boot has a plastic liner. They are secured by leash and splitter to allow them to move within the area, they love it

Don't have a dog anymore, but Orvis always had some nice ones. I was really happy with the one I had.

Could someone with a 2022 X3 be kind enough to provide me with these two measurements? Wanting to purchase a few protective pieces for the back for my two dogs.

1. Length of window/door
2. Length from top of the front headrests, to the seat and across, and to the top of the back headrests.

Hoping to get the pieces ordered before my X3 arrives in three weeks. Many thanks!

Thank you everyone above for the recommendations, as I'm looking for a rear seat cover as well - but do you also have photos (in your car) and size you ordered you can share? I've been researching and the more I dig the more picky I get. For example, Orvis sounds fantastic, but if you scroll through enough reviews you learn that even their smallest size ("Large") is too big for the X3.

I measured the back seat bench and it's about 50" across, while most of the seat covers are 56" or more - resulting in a lot of extra material. I'm picky and want a good fit!

Anyone willing to share photos and sizes? Very appreciated if you can!
