shawnsheridan I have a BMW X3 2016 F25 and I am trying to upgrade my steering wheel with the ones the new G01 have however when I swapped the wheels the controls on the new wheel don't work and i got a cruise control error, i guess I have to code the new Wheel can you advise on how to do it through E sys. I am pretty new to retrofitting and I am completely lost. any advice on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea. I never make this retrofit.

I'm able to Read FA, the FAList folder structure is present
However I don't see the Read SVT option on the right side of the screen.
The listed options under SVT Actual are:
Read VCM
Read ECU
Load
Save
Edit

Is Read VCM the same function as Read SVT?

Run motor (just don't code DME/DDE ECU). Use Read ECU.

On my F07 I’m trying to code the TPMS I’ve retrofited.
All good, but when I go to that step it seems that the Detect CAF for SWE is not active and cannot continue with the coding.
Using Esys 3.27.1 and PSdZData lite.

Injecting CAFD (Detect CAF for SWE) and Flashing ECU's with >= v.4.17.20 PSdZData requires using newer E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher.

I see. Can I install both versions of Esys on my Laptop and using the 3.30 only for that purpose? I think the current version of the PSdZData I have is 4.25.

Yes.

1) Install E-Sys 3.27.1 to default location, C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys.
2) Use E-Sys 3.27.1 for normal FDL and VO Coding. For FDL Coding, use E-Sys Launcher PRO 2.x to launch E-Sys 3.27.1.
3) Install E-Sys 3.30.1 to different location, e.g. C:\EC-Apps\ESG\E-Sys_3.30.1
4) Use E-Sys 3.30.1 for CAFD Injection and Flashing. Do NOT use with E-Sys Launcher PRO 2.x.

In summary, for Coding use E-Sys 3.27.1 and E-Sys Launcher Application. For CAFD Injection and Flashing, use E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher, and NO Launcher Application.
