My friend owns 2012 x3 28i with just about 100k on it, he has 4 codes saying 3 of the p12ba and 1 is p1147 with generic code reader
Anyone here had same codes?
Where should we start from?

2nd code looks familiar. Possibly O2 sensor or maybe MAF sensor? Not 100% sure sorry

Any shakes or shuttering? Do some diagnostic pulls to see if anything happens.

What did you scan the vehicle with?

Looks like its showing for the rear O2 Sensor.. Probably your injector went bad and dumped fuel and cooked on the sensor. Hows your gas mileage? I would change the injector first and see what happens. Injector from Cylinder 4 in your case, but double check to be sure.

I'm willing to bet that is what happened!

Depending on how long it was or has been pouring fuel into the cylinder it may have clogged up you cat. I'd say look into fixing the injector. Then, drive it a bit and see if the o2 code goes away. If it persists, replace the sensor. Cat should eventually unclog itself.

I'd say that is the best place to start.
