Thanks to Shawn I’ve managed to add 2vb (the TPMS, we don’t have it as a standard in Europe) and to code the module. Lovely!

Still there is the RPA fault message appearing once I turn the ignition on:
“Flat tyre monitor(RPA) failure”
Need to mention, that I had this message before the retrofit of RDC (TPMS) i did.
Tried to code the Head unit, Kombi and Dsc (if I remember correctly, it was a time ago), but no luck.
I was thinking that when I VO code the 2vb, that will fix the issue, but obviously will have to disable the RPA somehow.
Any ideas?

VO Code ICM, CIC/NBT, KOMBI, and DSC for 2VB.

Coding Help - Adaptive Headlight Malfunction

Hi there,

After several adaptive headlight failures caused by what appears to be a crack in the once-waterproof housing of my left adaptive xenon headlight (and was fixed by replacing the Xenon control unit each time), I decided to get a completely new OEM headlight assembly. After I transferred over all my old components (Xenon control unit, driver module, LED modules) and turned the car on, I get the following malfunction messages in iDrive:

* Adaptive headlight malfunction
* Left low beam malfunction
* Daytime/Parking lamp malfunction

This is confusing to me given that all of the connected components are from my original, once working headlight. That said, I have tried to determine from the forums whether I need to use ISTA and E-SYS, or just E-SYS to resolve this problem. So, my questions:

(1) Does this require "only" coding, and if so, what exactly do I have to code - the FRM? I am not enabling anything new - my car came with options 522 and 524 - I just want them to work again with the existing modules, albeit in a new headlight assembly.

(2) My installation of E-SYS (v.3.27.1) has two different TargetSelector entries for F025 - one says "Project=F025_20_07_..." and the other "Project=F025_20_11_..." Which should I use?

Thanks for your insights and support! My car is a 2013 F25 xDrive35i.

Sorry, no idea. I have never tried this before. Can you rip it from DVD and copy to USB and then from USB to car to HDD?

Select newer "Project=F025_20_11_..." Target.

Unless FRM was replaced, it would not need Coding.

Does car have any TMS, LHM, FLE, or STML / STMR modules?

Thanks for confirming which target to use. I redid my reads with E-Sys (no change from older TargetSelector), and note that none of the modules you mentioned are listed in my ECU Tree, if that is where I should expect to find them (see attached pic). Is there another way to list all of the modules?

If the ECU tree is complete and those modules are not listed, does that mean I need to break out ISTA and probe the vehicle that way first? Thank you.

That's what I was expecting for Xenon lights. There is no other separate light modules, only FRM, which is already properly coded. Try just clearing the errors with E-Sys Transmitter. If they don't clear, you will need to get ISTA to diagnose the issue.

Not screen size. Head Unit type. BMW uses many different ones. PM me your short VIN (last 7).

Hey Guys!

I got all the software up and running on my laptop.

I am planning to code the Logic 7 for BMW F01 pre lci (Option $677). I had Hi-Fi option prior that.

Can you please advice me what modules do I need to go please?

Probably VO 677 in CAS and FRM modules?

Thank you!

I don't see how this is going to work without proper Amp, but I would code Amp, ICM, and Head Unit.

I have a l7 amp and speakers and under-seat subs, so the last thing is to code the amp and options to CIC
