This is not even my car but my wife's car and I'm anxiously waiting for it. Is this normal? I should be content with my ride. Hurry up and get here already.

Ours was "awaiting carrier assignment" early this morning but was sent on its way in the afternoon. We will see how long it takes to reach Oxnard and then make the trek up to the PNW.

Waiting on mine too (m40i carbon black). It's been in this status since last Friday. I ordered it right at the beginning of the month. Hopefully soon!

Shopped both but purchased downtown. Neither would negotiate to the level of some of the deals in larger markets. Found out the vehicle will be here mid-July so it turns out to be a six week timeframe from purchase to delivery.

Update- mine just changed to dispatched from factory status! Should be here in the next day or two by the looks of it. Can't wait!

I am also waiting for my new X4 M40i black sapphire!-ordered in central EUROPE!! I ordered car on Aprils fools day! Car went to status 165 - in transit from plant of manufacture to port of departure on 1st June. I asked my dealer two days ago what is the status and he wasnt able to confirm when exactly will i get the car since the car isnt scanned at the port of arrival yet.. its 3 weeks since the production and i dont know when to expect the delivery.. I feel that we in Europe pay at least 30% higher price for a new car with a shit customer service compared to USA market. I cant track my car with VIN...

Do you guys know how long does it take for a car to be shipped to EUROPE after it was released to sales? Are bmws at port of arrival shipped on a truck directly to distributor automatically via BMW own logistics trucks or does every distributor organizes truck delivery by themselves?

I think this not the issue since my car was handled to sales on 1st of June and there is no way that a ship can reach Europe in only 10 days! I am just pissed that i got no status update, sales rep doesnt even tell me on what ship is my car..

That sure took some time to get to the next step. Mine was dispatched the same day as waiting assignment (or so said the tracking site). But then again, I guess what people have said about the inaccuracy of their tracking, is true as ours showed arriving at the Port June 20 but my SA previously said it was scheduled to arrive at the Port July 2.

Another question. My build date was 31st of May. 1st of June - status 165 TRANSIT to bremerhaven.

SHIPS Schedules: 6.6.2019- k line. 11.06.2019 transcar carrier and 14.06 KLINE. What is the most probable chance out of these 3 ships that my car will get onto it!
