Where do you mount your firearm?
Being a political refugee from CA and wanting my freedoms back, I moved to ID then SW FL, and have firearms in all my vehicles. I found this very strong Magnetic Mount on Amazon. I carry 10mm's and 45's (1911 frames), this mount works very, very well. The magnet is powerful and has a trigger guard as well. Extremely easy to reach, and out of the way. The 1911 is to big for the Glovebox, so this was a perfect solution. I did have to screw into the lower plastic, but not a big deal for me. Where is everyone else mounting theirs?

I'm still stuck in NY where only criminals are allowed to carry guns.
Just wanted to add my support for BMW owners who carry in their vehicles |

Sig Sauer P365 in the left cubby as well. Fits like a glove. Also in SW FL, also free 😂 🇺🇸.

Holy smokes...if crime in your area is bad enough to carry a weapon (in the open no less), then why live there? Crazy IMO. World is messed up.

I was lucky enough to have a job I can do anywhere. I feel sorry for the people that have to live in these Hell holes. Women are getting raped in broad daylight in the street in LA.

The 365 is a great little piece of kit. Thank you BMW for the convenient carry location as well

We’re an open carry here in Texas. I have a CHL or LTC, whatever you want to call it. I generally leave mine in the glovebox for traveling, or just keep it on my person. I haven’t really looked for a place to put it in particular… must say, this thread piqued my interest though.
Btw… anyone who says we’re living in a bad place if we NEED to carry a gun, that’s not the case at all. It’s called being prepared for the unknowns in life. If you can’t protect yourself and family, I don’t think waiting for someone who will is a good idea. |

No arguments from me, just let me ask you one question... Would you allow someone to harm your wife, kids, yourself without at least trying to protect them with whatever means necessary? If you answer yes, well... you're just not a gun person. To be 100% honest, I rarely carry my gun with me on drives, BUT I value having the option to carry if I choose to.
