New UK X3M Competition LCI order Thread

Looks like this thread hasn’t been updated in a while.

Would appear my order has jumped forward circa three months. Delivery now expected in September!

That's a poor show JonD999. After I was told not to expect my MBB until next year, I took a call mid-June to say things had changed a little and a build slot had been secured. I had an update yesterday and its now on the line and delivery expected week 35 so end of August. After thins long I will be gutted it arrives then as will be a 22 plate by a few days rather than a 72.

Possibly I didn’t word that correctly, it’s come forward not gone back. Was originally due to arrive early December, now showing in September!

Ah, my mistake. Very similar result then. I will be surprised if mine arrives at the end of August, but I will be more than happy if it arrives before October.

Just been told mine 'lands' on the 1st of Aug so looking for handover at some point in next 2 weeks. Super excited!!!

Nice one! I don't suppose you know how long its taken between completion of build to arrival? My update suggests my car is built and being quality checked before being shipped. The estimated date is w/c 5th September, but not sure if that's realistic or not.

Wasn't given much specifics other than Sytner securing a build slot at the end of June and a 'landing' (assuming this means arrival) date of 1st Aug. Appointment made for pick up on the 15th.

Sounds like ours are literally next to each other, I have the same status and estimated delivery date.

Just to free up some funds and hopefully move into something I can use on track days again

Part of me wants to keep it really so will see if there’s any takers

got a call from Sytner today trying to move me into a new X3M from my 69plate. Apparently 2 in the showroom in stock!

Sales slowing down?

Hardly surprising given the current ARP’s low discounts it was pretty much a certainty that will affect all models from all manufacturers.

Have to say though boys…. This car is epic! Been out and around with the family during the summer holidays .. so me, the Mrs, two kids and two Dogs large dogs (Vizsla). The cars handled it so well, been down for a day on the beach which included all the crap you'd expect, trolleys, camping chars, body boards, umbrella …. All loaded up with no problems. Followed by a sedate drive in comfort .. enjoying the pan roof open to the air and the luxury and refinement of the car. Equally… we're now back at our caravan and I might just we'll go out for a blast … it's a real weapon and doesn't compromise in the fun department! Very happy with my decision. Still want an exige toy though …

While I like the X3M, just not thinking there is a big enough improvement to trade up since it will cost £31k to trade up or £40k to buy.

That's a pretty poor offer from them, how much would WBAC offer? I'm thinking about moving mine on as well but probably going to go for an LCI M5.

So it looks like my wait is nearing an end. Most recent update is my car has landed in Southampton and is due at the dealership the first week in September. Will hopefully get to pick the car up not long after.

How long have you been waiting?, I was quoted 13 weeks order to delivery.
