Bent wheels or bubble or tire can be

Now im thinking of going back to RFT, a peace of mind when traveling.

I guess i have 2 choices Mich PrimacyMXM4 ZP or Conti ProContact GX SSR
both are grand touring
You don't have a digital tread depth/air pressure measurement ?
My DWS06 have 20k miles on them and still 8/32 all four
My MPSS (stock) have 7k miles and are 7/32 ROFL!

Make sure u read TireRack reviews as Grand Touring doesn't compare to Ultra High performance when it comes to Snow/Rain and handling above 60mph

GT tires have lower speed rating, H 130mph which you lose in performance
only drawback.

You never take your car that fast so thats not what I meant, look at their Rain, Hydroplanning and Snow rating u want at least 8 in those if its going to be a year long tire.

X4 drivetrain issues

Hello, im new here.. from Brazil, got a x4 35 2016.

from a little time the car has started to make some high frequency noise, like hummmmmmm in highway speeds.. now in my last trip, started making some noises from the front, drivetrain, not engine.. stopped by the dealer, they say it was the diff. will replace them under warranty ( got my car used but with dealer warranty) . this is my third issue with it, being the first the plastic pipe that feeds air to engine (chargepipe) and second a fuel injector. all fixed under warranty. starting to think about trading in the car for another x serie..

My X4, 08 2015, was behaving delayed starting especially when hot. Initially I thought it was a sign of failing kick starter and I had to buy a used one. In another thought, also checked if it was failing alternator or bad engine ground cable. At the end, it turns out to be bad battery.

2016 X4 (2.0d Xline). I have a slight vibration under engine load, I have noted some other posts indicating that this could be linked to the prop shaft. Will look into it.

C90D60 AUC sensor: internal sensor fault - SOLVED

Hi,

Overall, very happy with my 2016 F26 X4 35d with 45,600Kms.

Was just about to order a new BMW OEM Part # 64116826346 for about US$100 shipped to Australia and chance it would fix the BMW XAUC SENSOR error in ISTA+ but decided to try something.

I removed the XAUC Sensor and got some 240 grit wet/dry sandpaper, used dry and folded a piece so it was about 1/4" wide and 2" long and moved it around so I could sand each of the 3 pins, re-attached and no more ISTA+ c90d60 error bmw from JBBE ECU.

Just to give the 3 pins some protection against corrosion, I sprayed just a little WD40 Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant spray on the 3 pins and plug, the silicone spray can says it protects metal from corrosin.
