A few annoying things from the m40i so far

The air temp sync button is my favorite so far. What are some of the annoyances that you guys have with your cars? Any tips would also be welcome to improve things.

Yeah, no sync button is annoying, but the dealer set up a “macro” that would sync them…no idea how he did it tho.

Oh, I am curious to find out how. The blank buttons work well for me, but I would like to know what the dealer did too.

Trying to understand what the point of the digital temp gauges are for when the center vent has to be changed within iDrive. I'm still not understand the separation or how to use this correctly.

Having had these in my '18 M2 for the first time, they were fantastic. I don't like warm air being blown to my face, dries out my eyes, so I had the centre bit set to the cooler side of the scale, whilst the rest of the car would be set to warm. This is in UK winters + other winter driving trips in to Europe, so there was a bit of a temp differential, but once I realised I could separate the two, my life was not the same again.

I wish there was an option to see total mileage without having to select the trip widget on the right-hand side when driving.

I have seen on Youtube on a Bimmercode vid that you can add it on the bottom of the driver's main screen.

All you have to do is go into the menu into the system you are wanting to setup a shortcut for, place the read cursor on the item you want to create the shortcut on and then hold down the preset button on the dash until the shortcut is saved.

I have several setup on my X3M.
