In the new video the X3M looks really well planted on the road/race track specially with those nice wide tires.

Can't wait to see the X4M. Still can't believe it's taken BMW so long to produce these vehicles.

*Speaking of tires, just received a flat in one Bridgestone Protenza rear run flat tire, Tire Rack price went up a whopping $115 from last year, totally insane! And unacceptable by the tire manufacture. $420 for an 18" inch tire, WTF!!!

I did performance center delivery in Spartanburg for my M5 this week and on the factory tour X3M was in the back of the factory. Lines look great in person under the camo and the sound of the engine is leagues better than the current F8x.

Once I pointed it out to the tour guide they got sort of into a panicked rush to get the group out of the area and they ignored my prodding about it

I truly wish cameras were allowed I lost it when I saw it

Also, this has nothing to do with the X3M but I saw the M850i and 2 of the new 2019 X5's roll up to a rest stop in New Jersey 2 weekends ago on i-95 headed north. For a second I thought the 2 X5's were X7's as they looked monstrous having camo on it compared to the current body they are phasing out. But even with camo on, they both looked so damn good in person. Also, all 3 of them were hustling in a line in the "Cars Only" section doing like 90

They simply aren't worth it. Whenever you get a flat you need to replace the tire anyway and it's not often one needs to drive 50 miles after they've had a flat.

Minimal Camo but you could clearly see all the lines and M details on the body.

At the center every now and then you could see the massive X7 and a bunch of X5s running around doing testing. Saw one metallic dark purple eggplant colored X5 with dark chrome accents that looked amazing. I’m tradin in my X5s for it after seeing it in person

Similar thing happened to me back when they first did the X5M. We were finishing the tour near the front of the building where the final Cars get tested and there was a garage area to the side where one was sitting. Put a big grin on my face and the tour guide recognized what I spotted and laughed at me then moved things along.

Run flats are absolutely worth it, it enabled me to get home safely. And also enabled me to get to the installer safely two days later. Had to use a compressor to fill it up. But I wouldn't use anything else after experiencing a road hazard/catastrophic failure.

*It's still it does NOT make sense for Bridgestone to increase the price of one 18" inch tire by $115 in just one year, totally unacceptable.

Two words, Tire Rack! They offer a two-year road hazard warranty on the tires, free of charge.

I still miss having a full size spare in the trunk. But it is what it is.

The cost difference is probably close to a tow and an uber. You get the improved performance/comfort almost for free.

Hopefully exterior & stance will be more aggressive, and some unique colors and full leather interior. Perhaps that would be enough to make me consider unloading the X5M in a few years (once the X3M hype dies down, and I have gotten tired of paying the fuel costs for our X5M--Haha!)

I just received the X3 3.0i M Sport as a loaner. what an amazing SUV. I can only imagine what the X3M will drive like. Most definitely will be in the market for one in a few years.

Having driven the X3 M40i a while ago I can only imagine the X3M being an awesome car. Coming from a X5 M50d, now driving a 440i GC I’m looking for something that fits in between these (and a step up from the 440i) and I think the X3M will be just that! Available to order by the end of the year (a bit earlier even, it seems), I can hardly wait... I don’t think I’ll wait for the Competition package, I don’t want it to get overly stiff and hard to ride, but we’ll see...
