I got Phytonic Blue. I was after black or carbon black but this one was in stock.

I was not totally sold on the colour but got it. 5 months later I love it !

It looks great clean but- more importantly for a lazy person like me - it still looks great filthy !!!

I love the blue. It’s the only fun color they offer on the X3.

I am at 8 months and ordered mine phytonic blue with black leather/blue stitching. I was not really impressed with BMW's color choices and my last car and pickup were blue. I did not want white, silver, grey or black so blue it was. I really like the color and have no regrets. Seemed odd to me that any color other than white or black is an option with a cost?

The bavarian manufacturers started charging for colors other than white or black decades ago. Now, other brands have caught up. Though still not as bad as the bavarians.
Just another way to get into your pocket for more profits.

Nice color, but not bright or sporty enough for me, if going for a blue. Stuck with alpine white and cerium delete (all gloss black) for the storm trooper look. Yas Marina is my favorite BMW blue.

I never see Terra Brown or Dark Olive on the road. Ever. A lot of the colors are duplicates, IMO. Is it really necessary to offer three blacks and two whites? Those color choices could be replaced with some better looking colors.

Originally I was hpping for a darker, more Navy blue.
But after choosing Phytonic Blue, (as it was the only blue available for the xDrive30i),
and living with it awhile, now I like it.

What I like is how it appears to be a different shade of blue, depending on the light of the day.
In bright sunshine, it looks brighter, more intense and metallic.
On cloudy days or evenings, it has that a darker, Navy blue quality.

I don't think you'll regret it.

Back to white

Have had most of the bmw color families and have come back to white. It’s not a fancy color but you never get sick of it and it always looks good.
Last car a M240 was black with coral. Beautiful when just washed but....
Good friend has carbon black and it is beautiful in many shades of light. I like the blue but it screams a bit too much for me as the X3 m40 is tricked out a bit to begin with. That said I think pb is a very cool color

I've ordered mine in Phytonic Blue and can't wait. But any of you ever wondered what phytonic means?

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/phytonic

It's the smallest unit of a plant that can grow into an entire plant? WTH? How is that related to blue?

Like my 2019 phytonic blue m40i but was disappointed with the color choices. Seems like there should be some more colors.

Love the PB on my car. It really popped after I got the ceramic coating on the car.
