So I've used ProClip on many of my cars in the past. It's a quality product with usually a very elegant install. Unfortunately due to the revised dash on the G01 X3, the location of their custom G01 mount is now to the right of the infotainment screen. Pretty much useless for me, too far away. I'm not a fan of "vent mounted" options as it blocks airflow too much. Anyone find a good option that looks relatively custom?

Magnets to a phone ?
I’m still believing that magnets are a way to erase computer/phone memory.

Can somebody correct me ?

Just keep in mind this may affect wireless charging and wireless payments (NFC).

IVE SEEN THE LIGHT !!! stop using ugly large car mounts, go modern, beautiful and easy

https://www.amazon.ca/AUKEY-Magnetic.../dp/B017CRMIV2

If you dont want it out the outside of your phone, just place it between your case and phone, hidden

no more post needed people.

Where do you attach the magnetic mounts. I am not a fan of mounting on the vents as they tend to heat-up/cool-down my iPhone too much.
Has anyone tried the CD mount with magnet?
PAX3 - does this Scosche Magic Mount MAG12VB keep your phone up with it falling over?

nato mount is better than the vent clip option. if you put the magnet between your phone and its' case, the magnet does not keep the phone mounted when hitting large bumps and will slide off. the vent clip allows no flexion movement, where as the nato mounts allow it so you can tilt to your liking. the worst part about nato is it does utilize a double sided tape and is of course harder to remove than the vent clip.

I am also not a fan of putting anything requiring adhesive on my phone, and I don't like the idea of hot/cold air blowing constantly on it (or you have to turn the vent off).

Currently I am using a cup holder mount https://www.amazon.com/Macally-Adjus...r%2Bmount&th=1. Works fine and the phone can be reached very easily. Will do for now until I can find something better.

that's pretty neat actually. I hate the adhesive part on the phone and the attachment on the car. I won't be putting any sticky adhesives on this car. I'll probably just keep it in the center console where it belongs when I drive anyway....lol
