For my first post I placed this in the X3 forum and I guess it should be over here. Me Bad :confused

New to the forum and first post.
Placed my order on Oct. 20 for a X3MC Sunstone Metallic, Tartufo Leather, Competition Pkg.,
Executive Pkg., Front Ventilated seats, and the Carbon Fiber interior and Exterior.
Looks like a completion date of Nov.6. I’m hoping for the 10-11.
I’ve been up and down the forums and never see Sunstone. What's up with that?
It seems everyone gets the same 4 or 5 Colors.

Never seen sunstone either. Be sure to post pics when it arrives, as I am sure it will look superb!

First X4MC I saw was in a showroom in that combination, Sunstone over Tartufo. Came across as a very light gold colour. The interior was gorgeous. I'm sure you will love it.

I think it's a nice colour, just not a popular one a friend has one at his garage but is struggling to sell it.

sunstone nice! be nice to see that on the forums. Def dont see many of those on the forums looking forward to seeing your thoughts when you get it. I take it you have seen it in person before right? Or are you going off just pictures? its a lot different in person, has a lot of great hues to it in various lights. Great color, lots of character

The wife and I did not want to look like the Bimmer next door. We never seen one in person.
Found some on You Tube ( I know not the same ) so we said let do it. Adding Carbon Fiber
extorter and hopping it will work. The X3 is hers and the MC part is mine.

picked up Oct 20 and will be putting a some miles on today. this is my 5th BMW
from this Dealer. The price is frim on 2021 x3mc. And BMW only gave 750.
total just over 4000.

from the whole east coast dealers i saw just 1 car in north Carolina bmw dealer, that's it. super rare

Sunstone and Tartufo
Had to take it in to the Dealer because the idrive kept rebooting. They said Head Unit
had to be reprogramed. At the same time they did the 1200 M service ( had 848 miles ).
Everything seems to be working fine.

As you can see red on the inside is not for me. Red on the outside is like the car I have to put on auto trader. For now I put it and the garage and covered
it.

I noticed that you got the carbon exterior pack. I just got mine today and it also has the exterior carbon pack, but for some reason the hands free tailgate doesn't work. Does your hands free tailgate still work or is that something that you lose with the carbon pack?

Mine also doesn't work. On my 340i I put on a Kies Motorsport Carbon Fiber shark fin and lost XM radio.
If I take the shark fin off XM radio comes back?

I have the carbon pack, the hands free tailgate doesn't work, the carbon fibre in the diffuser blocks the signals 🤨.
Apparently also an issue on earlier M cars with carbon.
