Welp I have my 2020 X3MC and will hold onto it if the LCI looks ridiculous.

Is this very early for an LCI? I'm hoping more for a suspension revision.

If it's you, then it's me too. When I see pics like this and here folks draw conclusions, I feel like I'm listening to a wine review: "hints of oak, traces of cherry and a slight waft of ginger speak volumes for this vintage..."

Well, the photos show that BMW messes with the kidney design and this may have following consequences:

1) The kidneys may become smaller (extremely unlikely)
2) The kidneys may retain the current size and just get a reshape (rather unlikely)
3) The kidneys may grow (very likely)

Pretty normal years wise, we've already had 18/19/20 MYs.

That's good. X4 has worst looking kidneys in BMW history. Rear end is also catastrophic
Agree, sadly. I've grown to accept the X5 and X7 connected grilles, but I still strongly dislike the X3/X4 grilles. Neither have attractive tail lights either, for that matter. X4's are way too thin and boring (G20/G80 have same problem, IMO), and I don't know what to make of the X3's random tail light design. Then again, every generation of X3 has had tail lights that are ugly and weird looking, so I guess they've been fairly consistent with that.

This X4 LCI is looking good. If they totally revise the kidneys and tail lights and also spruce up the interior space a bit, they should actually be able to sell these things!
