Which tune have you gone with?

Was curious how many members have installed a tune so far and which one?

Seems like a ton of interest, so just curious who actually pulled the trigger.

Great idea. Can you add MHD and custom tune to the poll?

I agree great idea. I wouldn't mind if people also write what's good or bad with their tune

Bootmod3 seems to be what people are using. At least from all the HP graphs I have seen.

But patiently waiting for ecutek later this year.

Did dinan have any timeline? I know they were delayed, curious how far out they are now.

No. I'm going to get their flash on my M2C Friday. I'll ask again.

Will a Dinan flash preserve warranty? Sure I read somewhere that BMW aren't honouring Dinan mods anymore? Hope this isn't the case as the S58 needs torque below 3k. That plus a gearbox map to suit and MSS urban springs would make for perfection!

Curious as to why most of you are tuning your vehicles. Is it just for HP gains? I'd put a Cobb on my Macan Turbo, but it was mostly because the car was a bit lurchy when you stepped on the pedal. The Cobb tune really smoothed out the acceleration. I find the X3 to be much smoother from start than the Macan was. And the stock HP is plenty of power for me, so I don't expect to consider a tune anytime soon.

BMW never honoring their warranty with Dinan. What they do, Dinan will pay for your bill from BMW if the damage was caused by their product.
So, with that, either you have to wait both of them to settle the argument on whose fault it is or pay for it first and get it reimbursed by Dinan.
So, in technicality, what you purchase is a product with insurance coverage.

There is no such thing as enough power.
Otherwise all car manufacturer would've stop at 300hp M3.

Have any logs yet? And agree quite explosive, just a light stage 1 launch and I’m already at 3.36 with 93 octane (3.18 with 1 foot)

No, no logs here yet. I haven't found a straight, flat stretch where I can satisfy my inner hooligan. There is a nice drag strip 30 minutes from here that I will visit as soon as it reopens. There will be logs and time slips from those runs! I'm dying to know if I can break a 3 second zero to sixty and what the quarter mile will be down to. Had an Audi S4 get frisky with me Friday morning from a rolling 20. I shut her down at 90 while he was still back there trying to figure out how he just got trounced by a SUV. I'll give him an E for effort.

LOL, I deserve that answer! I should know better than to ask a dumb question like that. I guess you're right, or I'd be driving a Prius.
