Interesting. I like his videos, even though he tends to dislike anything without a V8

As a driver it was a very comfy ride for me, but as a passenger I can see where those complaints of stiffness come in to play. I had this car on my radar once it was more affordable for myself, but I've completely changed my mind. Decided to go the M2C route and enjoy the driving experience a bit more. To circle back I don't think there's a real customer for this car without sacrificing something you want in an M vehicle. Just my $0.02.
I think I know who the real customer is for this thing. It's the guy who already has a legitimate M-car (or 911, or whatever else is more sports-car), lives in the snow belt where said "real M-car" isn't at all usable in the winter, and/or needs another car that can haul people or goods. The X3M is all of those things to me. I moved back to the midwest and it's an attempt to somewhat enjoy driving something in the winter, BUT it is not a replacement for my M3.

these are really fun, affordable daily drivers with decent cargo space, much more fun than most SUVs out there. and yes, many of us also drive “sporty weekend cars”, without going too much into details.

The same... M1 settings are engine & steering in sport, suspension in sport+ and MDM. Felt I was missing out for four months until I started messing with MDM then was like why would you have this car and drive in any other mode? Winter here will change that but on dry surfaces...

yea bro. M2C is da real shit, purist stuff, “track car”, not some lame SUV...
I just got out of my M2c after 8 months and while I didn't drive the suv, I'm surprised it was cross shopped.

I have nothing to add. I'm just here to read AlexFL responses. He can go from 0 to STF in less time than his modded X3M takes to get to 60mph. And with none of that lag people keep bitching about. Someday I'll make it to Florida and buy him a beer for the great responses! 👍🏻👊🏻🍺

affordable? 800$ to 1k$ payment a month you think its affordable? not everyone can have payments like this my friend. Your speaking like its 350$ a month lol. Cargo space in rs3? you all right man? what space are you talking about? have you ever seat in this peanut? if you over 5'11 you are in a jelly jar.

Affordable is all relative and situational dependent. Not to be confused with reasonable. LOL. $800 is "affordable" compared to say $1800 month. And you're saying it's like it's $350 a month and that too could not be affordable to others. Considering you can push a Jeep GC damn near 60k now I don't think $800 a month is too uncommon anymore. Just my two cents...

hey, bratok, I was talking about X3M, not RS3. I do consider X3M very affordable considering the performance and the competitors (GLC63s, Stelvio QF, Macan Turbo).

Anyone saying they don't understand the market for this car probably doesn't have active kids.

I used to have a M3 (and smaller cars before that) I miss them but needed more utility. Two kids in travel sports, driving all over the place 5 days a week with baseball/softball bags, cooler, chairs and a dog, not going to work in M3, I know I tried for a year.

I don't want two cars (both depreciating) with extra insurance payments when I have one that can do it all.

M3 wagon would work but will never come to US, so it's the best alternative.

Exactly. I would of been in the market for an m3 or m4 but I have twins who were only 5 months old at the time of purchase. Having an suv that is nearly as capable for my purposes (no track use) is an ideal product for me given my life circumstances.
