My M40i arrived in Southampton yesterday so I should have it by end of next week once cleared customs etc. Purgatory almost over...

Exciting! You're actually going to pick yours up before me. Mine's been with TRL for a month but I now can't pick mine up until mid-March because of a business trip. Gutted! Will have to be excited vicariously through you.

Have they modified these cars for whatever it is that is holding up petrol cars for Europe or is that to be done later or does nothing need doing?

Hi all,
Ordered my M40i last week. Apparently due in June��
Please could someone tell me how to check the progress.
I was told I could ask the genius which is meant to pop up when you configure your car. So far nothing pops up on my iPad. The genius at my local dealer says he will update me when he hears anything, but not aware that I could look for myself! Having had this facility for my last Audi, I wonder if you know how to go about it.

It doesn't seem to work on iOS devices since they revamped the website, but works fine on a desktop browser. Once you start configuring a vehicle, a pop-up appears that lets you ask about the status of your order. You just need to give them the AG order number that your dealer provides to you.

My combination is a Mac with Chrome and there's no problem there. I've also just tried it with Chrome on Windows 10 and that's fine too, so it's a strange problem. Clicking anywhere along the blue BMW Live Chat banner causes an overlay to appear that has options for Live Chat, Call Back and Call Back Later.

I've just checked the status on my M40i and it also appears to be waiting at Southampton!

Showing delivery 13/03. Assume that means to the dealer? It also says campaign hold in the status which nobody seems to know what that means. Hopefully it will be released soon as it was ordered in October!

On Thursday it was awaiting customs’ clearance then was going on the truck up to Park Lane but dealer said there were loads of delays due to the snow so it may only get to them middle of next week. Can’t pick it up until next weekend anyway so I’m ok to wait a few more days.

I personally can't log in since the website upgrade a month ago and the genius told me today "Your BMW Centre may be able to provide you with regular updates via email however it is no longer possible to track the status yourself"

Yes. I asked the online assistant yesterday and they gave me an update validating the details the garage had. Although my dealer seems to get confused with week numbers and actual dates. On my info screen it said 13/03/18 for delivery. The dealer interpreted that as week 13 (26/03/18) but the online assistant said it was first half of March.

Looking at the dealers screens actual dates seem to be in the format dd/mm/yy where week numbers seem to be ww-mm-yy.
