do you have a cheaper alternative? I have the OEM mats I got used, heard the weathertech mats are identical other than the logos. Plus weathertech offers a full shield to cover more than the mats do, I probably would have gotten those if I didn't find a good deal on the OEM mats

I prefer the OEM mats as they have the xdrive logo and I rather not see any aftermarket logos in my car. But to answer your question, the weathertech mats are excellent, if you are dealing with heavy amounts of dirt/rain/sand/mud, then get them. If not, you can skip floor liners entirely and get regular carpet mats.

I have both OEM Weathertech and Weathertech for BMW rubber floor mats for winter months. One is for the X the other for a coupe. Both fit superb. The big plus over any other brand that sells rubber mats is the fact that especially for the driver side, the mat does goes nicely around the foot rest and around the gas pedal. This directs the muck collected on footwear onto the rubber mat and not on the carpet below. There is only minimal moisture going there. Very easy to clean and very well made. You need the big round velcro anchors for them.

On another note: I tried various other rubber mats (tried to save a penny), but not worth it. They are good if you don't touch the gas or brake pedal, which is impossible if you're driving. All the muck that drips goes under the rubber mat onto the carpet, especially around the edges. Not worth it

I had the Weathertech mats and cargo liner on my 2014 X3 35i. They were a perfect fit but the mats were very thin, more like "liners" than mats. The one thing I hated is that they had a sticky, "gummy" feel to them. Dirt stuck to them like crazy and they were impossible to completely clean. Mine were tan colored to match the carpeting and always looked like they were dirty. I wouldn't get them again.

I have the BMW all-weather mats on my 2019 X3 and they are very nice. I much thicker rubber and easy to clean.
