Using E30 with Tune
I am using BM3 with my M40i & noticed they just released new OTS maps for use with E30.
Ive never used E30 before and I'm not sure if I use it straight or do I use a mix along with 93 octane & if its a mix what ratio? It might be a stupid question but I don't want to mess anything up with my ignorance. Any input from peeps that currently run E30 with a tune would be greatly appreciated. |

I wrote to them on Friday but it was after they were closed. They have always responded quickly & I'm sure this will be no different. I just wanted to play with my new toy and didn't want to wait!

2 things you want to do before running E30
1. Make sure the E85 is E85... the local station by me sell "E85" but I tested it and it appears it is usually around 65-70% Ethanol. Which means I would need MORE "E85" from the pump to hit whatever ethanol mix I was going for. I have a tester and there are plenty out there. 2. Use this to calculate how much gas you would need to make E30 -> http://www.georgebelton.com/E85Calculator.php Have fun! And also head to the track
