Macao Blue and Mandarin II added. Mandarin II has been the most difficult color to derive so far, but I wanted to see what it would do for these models. An intriguing look.

Purple Silk and Signal Green (with CFRP). As with the other examples, images of models having these exteriors show a wide range of tints based on lighting (inside under warm wavelength spectrum vs outside with cooler spectrum, blue sky conditions). I chose outdoor lighting as the models.

You can't really tell that's a wrap in the pictures. I wonder how good a SMB wrap would look?

Good work on the color options. This X3 is the best one yet IMO, but I cannot understand how they fumbled the rear 3/4 of the X4. It looks so awkward, so frumpy and mishandled. I saw an X4 M40 on Sunday in traffic and was amazed at how bad it looked.

Thanks, calicolorado. I'm prepping to begin work on San Marino, Marina Bay, Estoril, and Velvet Blue examples. Trying to do them justice, but picking the correct tint out of hundreds of online examples (many of which are widely divergent) is proving difficult.

Marina Bay Blue and Velvet Blue. Same disclaimer - cannot find two images with same RGB values online as lighting and contrast are never the same. These are compromises between the extremes of lighter and darker images identified online.

I think these are the two best colors. Just gotta choose dark vs light grey which of course has washing/paint implications. I'm split as to what I would choose.

Thanks. I feel like most people with go with Donington and despite it being a M exclusive color, not sure if that alone should drive the decision.

Fashion Gray with CFRP (idea from it's recent 'Featured on Bimmerpost' - https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1587210 ) and Atlantis. I wasn't very familiar with either prior to developing the colors, but after seeing a lot of photos of these on M cars while I worked on them, gotta say they would look pretty amazing as well.

It's taken a while, X3bman, but the closest real color I could find to the one you liked is from Porsche, 'Biscay Blue'. As it's a metallic paint the tint changes a lot based on the lighting, so I made the RGB's most closely resemble their website build chip and model. While on Porsche, I also developed examples with their 'Mahogany Metallic'.

Individual colors 'Mint Green' and 'Orient Blue'. Continuing to plant the seed with BMW to consider offering more unique colors to the X3M and X4M line-up with the upcoming SOP post-Aug 1st production runs. One could even suggest allowing the X3M and X4M series to have their own separate, unique color options to further differentiate the lines.
