IMO the only M car that truly stands out is the M3 saloon because of the wide arches. I would have loved to see wide hips on the X3 as it would have given the rear more presence.

Here's a rough idea of appearance with an aero roof for those not wanting a moonroof, no rails, the hips widened about an 1" on each side, and the 'X3' and 'Competition' badges removed on the back side.
