Did the installer have any special notes? Any trouble getting them in? I believe you are the first to jump into the springs world.
Looks amazing. Where did you purchase them from H&R directly? |

I probably should have, but I didn't. H&R says 1.4" front and .75" rear... I m very pleased with them |

I’m glad this thread resurfaced since I’m relatively new around here. Just letting you know I love your X3 and I’m definitely using it as an inspiration for my wife’s daily (which we’ll be picking up in a couple of weeks). I’ve already been dropping hints about the H&R springs and showing her your photos. Solid gold man!

Nice mods. Not crazy about dark wheels but looks good on your vehicle especially with the drop. Love the oyster interior. Was curious about your mats. I believe the manufacturer/seller of those...Autopreme...is out of business now? Or is there a different seller.

Oh I miss the snow... car looks great! By chance have you noticed the front springs settling any lower since the install? I know H&R’s sometimes have a rake to them anyway from the factory, but figured I’d ask.

I took it in to BMW last week for service and to address the rear brake recall. Before pulling into the service lane, I was parked just outside and engaged in a phone conversation when I noticed a couple of guys walking towards the X3 with their cell phones in camera mode... The finance manager and the M Genius also came out to see what was going on. Apparently, this was the first modded X3 M40i that had come through the dealership. Everyone loved the wheels and the fact that it was sitting a little more aggressive than all the others. Lots of complements followed. This made me smile a little.... I wish I had gotten service bay pictures... |

I am ordering custom and I am looking to use your specs to order either Avant-garde F331's or Rotiform SNA's. * 21x9J et25 (front) * 21x10.5J et32 (rear) I'm in PA and cannot use wheel spacers above 1/4 inch (won't pass annual inspection). Therefore, I need to work with offsets to get what I'm looking for. You seemed to nail it. Also, you have absolutely no rubbing with these Michelin's right?

I had to use spacers in the front. They are super easy to install/uninstall (if necessary to get the vehicle inspected one a year).... You can custom order your wheels to the offsets I provided earlier to avoid using spacers, but custom order usually = added costs. |
