Which X3 appears to be the better deal?
Hey guys!
Which one of these appears to be the better deal: 2018 X3 xDrive30i with 6k miles (wood trim) No options at all 29,000$ 2019 X3 xDrive30i with 9k miles (piano black trim) Premium Package Essential (Navigation (GPS), Sunroof, etc.) 32,000$ Both are otherwise in the same condition. I intend to keep the car for only 3 years and drive around 7.5k miles / year. Which one do you think would depreciate less in this time-frame? Thanks! Well both were put in circulation around October 2018 so in both case I would be under warranty the entire time.

I'd definitely go w/ the '19. I expect you'll like the extra features and the car will be more desirable when you go to unload it.
Good luck!

Depreciation really only comes in to play if you sell it yourself and the absolute difference between the two probably won't be significant. Do you really care if one depreciated $100 more than the other? However, as others have mentioned, the Premium Pkg. will likely be more sought after and may be easier to sell. You might care if you sell the car in a week or two versus a month or two perhaps, I don't know. If you plan to trade, then Nav doesn't matter and you will get some credit for the option package but not full retail value.
