I haven't seen on Amazon but it's easy to find on eBay. The last time I saw it there was someone selling it for ~89 USD.

I like the look of the OEM all season floor mat.
It look great, but I can tell they doesn't have enough protection for winter.
Specailly the 2nd row as there are no protection in the middle

If anyone is still waiting for the 3D Maxpider Front & Rear set in black, they recently came back in stock and can be ordered from several online retailers except Amazon. I ended up cancelling my Amazon order and purchased from www.autoanything.com

Sorry if this has already been answered but does any know if the G01 mats are a fit for the G02 as well?

This is why I recommend the 3D Spyder mats. Excellent protection

Besides being easy to clean and easy to remove (in the case of the 2nd row as it's not a single piece).

All

Just ordered 3D Maxpider KAGU
They are in stock at Amazon.ca and partsengine.ca

I ordered from partsengine.ca as they have promotion right now.
Front and back total = CAD$188 + Tax, free shipping.
I think is great deal.

I’m actually interested in the main interior floor mats. Can’t understand why BMW don’t provide an alternative option of some proper luxury mats instead of the thin nylon/velour types that are standard? A premium rand vehicle and I have to go looking at aftermarket mats if I want proper luxury.

A mate of mine (some years ago) bought a new 911 SC Targa. He knew the owner of a carpet retailer and had some floor mats made to exact size, with proper bound edges out of the most expensive, densest, pure wool, deep pile, Wilton carpet that was available. They were black, to match the original carpet... this might sound silly, but whenever I travelled in that car, after those mats were fitted, jeezuz..., did it feel special, everyone commented on how nice his mats were! I’d like to achieve that in my X3, but can’t find any of these car mat companies that offer anything like it. There are a few who offer different qualities with bound edges but they are only half as thick/dense and usually cheap tufted nylon, for which they are asking top-dollar!

I got around to cleaning my Weathertech mats from the winter grime, I'm disappointed at the effort it takes to clean these. This photo is after a thirty minute soak, a five minute hand scrub, and a thorough spray and dry. It seems to get into the grain and stay.

At this point I've just given up, as long as the dirt from the mat isn't coming off onto my shoes I guess I'll just live with the look. I'm not going to spend a whole afternoon scrubbing the full set of mats.

I agree that the weathertech have the ability to look great provided you don't use them.

Get in a few times and use them for what they were designed and they will soon look terrible.

I've had them in my last six vehicles and every one of them turns from black to dirty gray within 6 months of use. I actually used shoe polish on my Accord liners before I sold it. Yup. Looked great for the sale!

But...I keep buying them!!

I might try another weekend. I do have a pressure washer that's probably strong enough to rip a hole through it if I'm not careful, but my goal today was to clean up the whole interior, not spend the day on the mats, so I moved on.

Hah, well the main goal is to have the original mats in mint condition for the sale, so the Weathertech will at least accomplish that. I may need to throw them out when I trade in though, swap in the originals.

Just bought the 3D maxpider mats instead of the weathertech (I've always had weathertech in past cars). Thanks for pointing out the sale!

I have the BMW weather mats, and the are fine for the car. However; the cargo one slides all over the place. I'm going to add Velcro to it.

Any other all weather floor mat options out there? Weathertech is not my favorite brand just like many said on here. The OEM ones looks the best but probably protect the least. And we have the Spider ones.
How do the Spider mats hold up?

Any other recommendations that would be good options?

I use my OEM mat for 1 month, then switched to 3D MAXpider, now using for 4 months.
LOVE the 3D MAXpider, much much better then OEM.
I am VERY disappointed on OEM Cargo liner as well and thinking switch to 3D MAXpider as well.

Waste $$ on OEM set.

BTW, I was looking at Infiniti with my wife last weekend, and seem like their OEM mat and Cargo liner are all 3D MAXpider. Much much better then BMW OEM Crap.
