Since you asked I'll tell you my approach -- when I get my X3M (later in 2020) I plan on putting 265/45/21 tires all around. This will accomplish two things

1. It will increase sidewall by 0.7 inches - a good thing in my book given that the car will be our only car and my wife will prefer the slightly softer ride. I dont think it will degrade the handling much and I certainly dont view this car as a track car so - I'd be fine with it. Several good choices in this size - my fave is the Nokian WrG3 - a great all arounder, V-rated, and very competent in snow (I had this tire on a couple of STi's and it was perfect year-rounder. It is NOT a big let down in hot dry conditions). Also several Michelin, Dunlop and pirelli max perf summer tires available in that size. Also will protect the rims a bit more - not insignificant as on the roads I drive I cracked one of the 19 inchers on my prior 340. Incidentally I did a similar thing on that car with the tires (taller sidewall and same size all around) after I cracked the rim and it worked great.

2. It will fill out the wheel wells abit more as it is an inch and a half taller. Perhaps will raise the 0-60 time slightly, but seriously I'm not concerned. Visually will have the effect of lowering the car that much due to reduced fender gap.

This avoids altering the springs on the car which I dont want to mess with. My feeling is to leave that stuff alone as it stresses other parts of the suspension that werent designed for the level of compression you get if you just change springs. Also going to same size all around lets you rotate tires. The stock stagger creates a wider tire at the rear of only 0.4 inches -- hardly significant and I think more for for marketing than anything else.

Thats my plan - I'm sure others will find fault with it - but I think it is reasonable and accomplishes several desirable things without messing up the stock suspension.

Anyone able to translate or have any idea what KW coilovers they used? I did see on IG that they're V3s. Something tells me a prototype or possibly for the M40i with some sort of EDC delete or code to remove.

Any "chassis stabilization" alarms from the adaptive dampers with lowering springs?

The only thing I don't like about H&R setup for X3M, the front lowers too much than the rear.

They are rated at 25mm rear and 30mm front.
In stock form, the rear is taller to the front by 16mm.

With the H&R setup, it will make the car to nose dive during breaking.

Here is my car with just the rear installed. H&R spring. I didn't do the front, because it was shipped with a wrong front spring.

It is. Front is a tad too high now.
Waiting on Eibach or MSS.
Probably MSS since it is adjustable, so I can dial it perfectly the way I want it.

If you have done springs before you will easy manage it. The fronts are a pain but not difficult just time consuming. Rears are easy enough. Have faith crack on😁😁👍
