Oil qty sensor change, not working

Hey guys,
I changed the oil qty sensor and its not working,
I bought what I thought is a BMW part online, looks the same with the same P/N's.
Does this part require any scan or computer flashing ??
I have a Autophix 7910 with the BMW option.
Thank for any info.

It should not require any coding or anything. Possible you got a bad one, but more likely your problem lies elsewhere - like wiring or a connector.

Buy genuine or OE equivalent parts if you didn't.

This is for my 2012 X3, but should be applicable to your car - no mention of any coding or the like needed during replacement. Obviously fault codes, if any, should be cleared.

Good luck/Bill
