Apple car Play F25.

Good day to one and all, how do i activate Apple carplay in my F25 35D? Yes the car has all the prep work done and i do not want to pay the £250 + to get BMW Connected to send a code to the car and activate it. Can this be done any other way??

I purchased this within a month of getting my 2017 F25. It's a strange process, but has worked flawlessly for me. Basically you provide the seller with your NBTEvo version and region, and they will send you a file that you put on a flash drive and insert into the USB port in the armrest.

You get to see some cool coding action flash across the infotainment screen (feels like being a hacker) and once the system restarts, CarPlay is available. The changes have survived multiple dealership trips and system updates.
