Wheel help - 2007 X3 fit 2016 536d wheels?
Curious if anyone would know or can help to find out if wheels from a 2016 535d would fit on my 2007 X3 3.0si manual? Have found a set of wheels and tires (245/45-18) I’m thinking of buying.
Thanks for any advice. |

What wheel style? Compare the offset to your existing wheels. I assume they'd be ok.....they likely have a more positive offset than stock.......which isn't necessarily a bad thing if it's not excessive.
I suspect the tires will be a little short.....compare the height of the 245's to your existing using a tire size calculator. Google will answer all! |

Thanks for the reply. I checked the offset and would be 16mm further positive so will have some effect on the scrub radius. Since the transfer case on the e83 is made of paper I don’t want to add extra stress on the xdrive system.
Decided not to get them and looking for other options. |

Okay so went slightly different route.
Wasn’t my first choice but a really nice package came up for a great price. Picked up some m-class X3 wheels and tires. 245/45-19 IS38 offset. In theory should fit but they are much bigger then my current 17’s. They are like new condition came off an F25 even the tires are Goodyear runflats almost full tread. Came with centre caps and all. Haven’t fitted them yet it’s -17 Celsius right now so still running the winter tires but will post up results in the spring when I put these on and take some pics. |
